Agriturismo Duca di Castelmonte
The Duca di Castelmonte agritourism farm was the brainchild of the Curatolo family, who with their passion for Sicilian culture and tradition have transformed their own family residence into convivial and charming tourist accommodation.
The Duca di Castelmonte holiday farm is in an old converted "baglio", a term which refers to the old Sicilian “masserie” (farmsteads). The farm is owned by the Curatolo family, who have lived there since the early 1800s, and consists of the original barns, stables and store-rooms which have been expertly converted into comfortable and pleasant guest accommodation.
The farm is surrounded by centuries-old pine trees, well-established olive plantations and lush citrus groves. Our charming pets, dogs, cats, chickens, geese, turkeys and peacocks roam freely in the grounds giving the farm a lively, animated atmosphere.
